Tantalising Tapas Treats!



Hola everyone!
We hope you’ve all had a wonderful week since we last wrote? Congleton Park has been super busy over the last few weeks, with the cycle race, the duck race and the race to enjoy the sun before it disappears lol! We do love a good race around here, daps are permanently at the ready.
Last weekend we needed them, as we had our BBQ specials Friday night, Saturday lunch, party in the evening and then a jam packed Sunday Roast on Sunday. Our feet didn’t touch the floor but it was great.
One of my personally most rewarding moments was when an elderly couple came in for a coffee on Sunday morning – the lady told me that she grew up nearby and used to come to the Pavilion regularly as a child for Weddings. When she walked in and saw our tables set up for Sunday Roast it immediately transported her back to then and she was overjoyed. What a lovely memory for her – and for me personally it’s my reward. We work hard to give the people of Congleton somewhere to come and enjoy and be part of. The building is a joy to work in, hard to imagine it was empty for so long and I hope we have given it back its soul.
Ok, enough of the mushy stuff, let’s get on to the real soul our food for the soul!
Back by VERY popular demand this Friday for specials night- it’s yummy Tapas.
Brad will be working his magic and creating some beautiful dishes, including Gambas pil pil, Spanish omelette, Meatballs, Patatas bravas, Chicken and chorizo paella, Tender stem broccoli with lemon and pine nuts, Roasted peppers with honey and almonds and the obligatory garlic bread. Serving from 5pm till 8pm. Tables are booking up so do contact us if you want to be sure of a getting in.
For the rest of the weekend – we are open on Saturday in the day, serving food until 3pm and on Sunday we are fully booked for Roast but will be serving drinks, refreshments and ice cream from the terrace all day.
